Vail Resorts Inc. (NYSE: MTN) agreed to purchase Peak Resorts Inc. (Nasdaq: SKIS) in a deal valued at $264 million.
Through the deal, Vail would add 17 more resorts, including locations near St. Louis and Kansas City.
Hidden Valley and Snow Creek in Missouri are included in the deal.
Peak Resorts is based out of the Missouri city of Wildwood.
