Weibo Corp., a Chinese company listed on the Nasdaq, may go private, sources familiar with the matter told Reuters.
The Reuters report indicates Weibo Chairperson Charles Chao and a Chinese state investor are teaming up on a potential deal that could value the company at more than $20 billion.
The company is considered China’s answer to Twitter.
