The United States is monitoring intelligence suggesting Kim Jong Un is facing health problems, an unnamed U.S. official told CNN.
The North Korean leader reportedly missed the celebration of his grandfather's birthday on April 15. He was seen four days before at a government meeting.
Another U.S. official told CNN that reports about Kim's health are credible but it's difficult to assess the severity.
Kim reportedly received a cardiovascular system procedure this month.
