The National Transportation Safety Board on Thursday issued a report concerning the March accident involving an Uber self-driving car that left a pedestrian dead.
The report found the vehicle's built-in automatic emergency braking system was disabled.
According to the report, the safety operator responsible for performing that maneuver did not apply the vehicle's brakes until after the collision.
