The Springfield News-Leader examined the cost to taxpayers incurred by President Donald Trump's recent visit to the Queen City.
City spokeswoman Cora Scott said employee overtime expenses related to Trump's visit came to $7,400. The majority, $7,017, was from the Springfield Police Department.
The Greene County Sheriff's Office provided flex time for officers but did not pay out overtime, according to the article.

How kind of the News-Leader to point this out. Where were Gannet’s reports on the Obamas’ trips and their costs to taxpayers. I guess these trips were free since they were consistent with the paper’s liberal agenda.
