The Trump administration plans to take a 10% stake in USA Rare Earth, sources familiar with the matter told Reuters.
The stake is reportedly part of a $1.6 billion debt-and-equity investment package.
The sources said USA Rare Earth would use the financing package to help develop a domestic mine and magnet facility.
