Tesla produced a record 80,000 vehicles during the third quarter, a source familiar with the matter told Electrek.
The quarter included the production of more than 2,000 cars in just two and a half days, the source said.
Tesla reportedly made 53,000 Model 3 vehicles during the quarter, a 187 percent increase from a year earlier.
