A special-purpose acquisition company deal that would take Universal Music Group public is slated to set a record, The Wall Street Journal reports.
Sources familiar with the matter said hedge fund billionaire William Ackman’s SPAC agreement with Universal Music Group would value the world's largest music company at $40 billion.
The current $35 billion SPAC record was set by Singaporean ride-hailing company Grab Holdings Inc.
