SoftBank is in talks to invest as much as an additional $30 billion in OpenAI, a source familiar with the matter told Reuters.
The source said the investment is expected to be part of a $100 billion funding round for OpenAI. Such a funding round would value OpenAI at $830 billion.
SoftBank in December completed a $41 billion investment in OpenAI to gain an 11% stake in the company.
