Report: Slowdowns in US, China could hold back global growth

The International Monetary Fund is predicting that slowdowns in the United States and China, the world's two largest economies, will hold back global growth.

The IMF is projecting that the world economy will slow to a 4.4% growth rate in 2022.

The slowdowns are brought on by higher inflation, supply chain issues and COVID-19-related shutdowns and worker shortages.
