Skinny jeans are no longer in vogue, according to a new report.
Straight-leg jeans in 2021 became the best-selling fit among American women, according to intelligence firm NPD Group. The pants sold $3.3 billion last year, making up 33% of the jeans category.
Skinny jeans dropped to 30% of sales last year, down from 41% in 2019.
