Report: Share of women in C-suite roles falls

The share of women in C-suite roles at publicly traded U.S. companies has dropped.

A new report from S&P Global Market Intelligence found women held 11.8% of roughly 15,000 C-suite roles assessed on the S&P Global Total Market Index. That's down from 12.2% a year earlier.

It's the first time the share of women in C-suite roles has dropped since the S&P started measuring the data in 2005.
