Venture capital firm Sequoia Capital has raised roughly $7 billion for a new fund, people familiar with the matter told Bloomberg.
The money will help Sequoia Capital expand bets on large companies such as artificial intelligence businesses like OpenAI and Anthropic.
The funding is reportedly the first raised under Sequoia’s new leadership.
