The Kansas City Royals are revisiting a potential downtown stadium site that's being floated as an option by developer The Cordish Cos.
The site under consideration calls for the ballpark to be built in place of The Kansas City Star's former offices and printing press, people familiar with the matter told the Kansas City Business Journal.
Royals officials have said two other sites, in the city's East Village area and central North Kansas City, are on equal footing for the new stadium plans.
