Cosmetics maker Revlon Inc. is preparing to file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, people familiar with the matter told The Wall Street Journal.
Owned by billionaire Ron Perelman’s MacAndrews & Forbes, the company has been in restructuring talks.
Perelman’s private-equity firm bought Revlon in 1985.
