A report by benchmarking company Global Wireless Solutions ranked AT&T as the operator of the best U.S. wireless network.
The study was based on GWS' speed and stability tests in all 50 states, as well as the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.
“This first of its kind nationwide study shows some impressive performances from some operators, but AT&T’s overall performance pushes them ahead of the rest,” said Paul Carer, GWS CEO and founder, in a statement.
Verizon ranked second, followed by T-Mobile and Sprint.
