Report: O'Reilly Auto buys California distribution center

Posted online
O'Reilly Automotive Inc. has purchased a building in Moreno Valley, Calif., for $25 million to establish a distribution center that will serve the CSK Auto stores on the West Coast, according to GlobeSt.com.

Springfield-based O'Reilly Auto acquired Phoenix-based CSK last summer and added about 1,300 stores primarily in the western half of the country - a territory not previously a part of the O'Reilly distribution network.

The 408,000-square-foot industrial building is located in the San Michele Distribution Center and was owned by Newport Beach, Calif.-based Alere Property Group, according to the report. O'Reilly also has new distribution centers in Seattle and Denver to serve CSK stores.

O'Reilly will announce its first-quarter earnings after market close April 29 and will hold a conference call on www.oreillyauto.com at 10 a.m. Central time April 30.
