OpenAI has recently missed its targets for revenue and users, according to a report by The Wall Street Journal.
Chief Financial Officer Sarah Friar has told other company leaders that OpenAI may not be able to pay for future computing contracts if revenue doesn’t improve, people familiar with the matter said.
Friar and OpenAI CEO Sam Altman said in a joint statement that "we are totally aligned on buying as much compute as we can and working hard on it together every day."
