Elon Musk is leading an investment group that made a $97.4 billion buyout offer for OpenAI, people familiar with the matter told The New York Times.
The group of investors reportedly want to buy the assets of the nonprofit that operates OpenAI.
On X, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman said, "No thank you but we will buy Twitter for $9.74 billion if you want."
