Meta Platforms is freezing artificial intelligence hiring, people familiar with the matter told The Wall Street Journal.
A Meta spokesperson called the move “basic organizational planning: creating a solid structure for our new superintelligence efforts after bringing people on board and undertaking yearly budgeting and planning exercises.”
Meta has been on a hiring spree in the AI space, adding more than 50 researchers and engineers in recent months.
