Report: Meta chief AI scientist to exit, launch startup

Yann LeCun, Meta’s chief artificial intelligence scientist, plans to exit the company and launch a startup, people familiar with the matter told the Financial Times.

LeCun is reportedly in early talks to raise funds for a new venture.

A Turing Award winner, LeCun is considered to be one of the pioneers of modern AI.
