The city of Louisville, Kentucky, reportedly has reached a settlement with the family of Breonna Taylor, the Black woman who was fatally shot by police in her apartment six months ago.
Sources familiar with the matter told the Louisville Courier Journal that a "substantial" financial settlement may be announced as early as this afternoon.
The deal also is expected to include police reforms, such as a requirement that commanders approve all search warrants before they go to a judge.
