Huawei is planning to file a lawsuit against the U.S., people familiar with the matter told the Financial Times.
The suit would challenge the U.S. ban on government agencies buying equipment from Huawei, which is based in China.
The ban on doing business with the telecoms supplier was enacted last year on national security concerns.
