As it continues to struggle with being blacklisted by the U.S., Huawei Technologies Co. is planning extensive layoffs in the country.
That's according to The Wall Street Journal, which cited people familiar with the matter.
Huawei's U.S.-based research and development subsidiary, called Futurewei Technologies, employs some 850 people.
The exact number of layoffs is unknown, but the sources said it could be in the hundreds.
