Home sellers in the United States outnumber buyers by roughly 490,000, according to a report by Redfin.
Officials with Redfin say it's the largest disparity since tracking began in 2013.
"Prospective buyers may see their purchasing power increase, and prospective sellers should consider selling sooner rather than later,” the report states.
