Report: Greenhouse gas emissions plummet amid pandemic

A report from economics and policy research provider Rhodium Group found greenhouse gas emissions dropped significantly amid the COVID-19 pandemic last year.

As cities were in various stages of lockdown for parts of the year, travel was reduced. That led to a 10.3% decrease in U.S. greenhouse gas emissions, according to the report.

The drop in annual emissions was the nation's largest since the World War II era.
