Report: Gordmans preparing for bankruptcy filing

Midwestern department-store chain is preparing to file for bankruptcy, people familiar with the matter told The Washington Post.

The Omaha, Nebraska-based company's shares have fall over 75 percent during the past year, largely due to losses in five of the the past six quarters.

Gordmans was taken public in 2010, two years after it was bought by private equity firm Sun Capital Partners.
