A new report by Glassdoor found that while the gender pay gap still exists, it's shrinking.
The U.S. average pay gap between men and women is 21.4 percent, meaning women earn about 79 cents on average for every $1 a man earns.
That's down 2.7 percentage points from 2016, when the pay gap was 76 cents for every $1.
