Report: FEMA faulted for failed contracts

Democrats on a Senate oversight committee are faulting the Federal Emergency Management Agency over failed contracts.

The investigation follows claims FEMA awarded contracts for hurricane supplies without adquately researching whether the winning bidder would do as promised.

Bronze Star LLC of St. Cloud, Florida, is said to have never delivered hundreds of thousands of tarps and other supplies to homes in Puerto Rico after Hurricane Maria.
