Report: FBI, ICE use driver’s licenses for facial recognition

The Washington Post reports the Federal Bureau of Investigation and Immigration and Customs Enforcement have access to millions of Americans' photos through their driver's licenses.

The photos are being used in facial-recognition searches without the consent of the people themselves, Congress or state legislatures, according to the report.

Most of the photos, obtained via state departments of motor vehicle databases, show people who have never been charged with a crime.
