Facebook reportedly is offering millions of dollars to news outlets for the rights to license their content, people familiar with the matter told The Wall Street Journal.
Facebook representatives have told news executives the company would pay as much as $3 million per year to license headlines and article previews, according to the sources.
The social media giant plans to launch a news section later this year, according to the report.
