A study from sports industry analyst Team Marketing Report estimates the amount of game-day revenue losses in Major League Baseball due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
More than $5 billion in revenue was lost across the league due to fans not attending games, according to the report.
The New York Yankees topped the list, with an estimated $437 million in lost game-day revenue. The Kansas City Royals lost more than $90 million, according to the report.
