Report: Cord-cutter households to surpass 25% in 2023

A report from market research company eMarketer predicts 27.1% of U.S. households will ditch traditional television by 2023.

Cord-cutter households already are at 17.3%, according to eMarketer, and will rise steadily in the near future.

They'll opt for alternatives such as Netflix, Hulu and Amazon Prime.
