Report: Confederate street names mean lower home prices

A newly released study found homes sell for less when they're located on streets named after Confederate figures.

Confederate addresses bearing such names as Jefferson Davis, Robert E. Lee and Thomas “Stonewall” Jackson sell for 3% less on average, according to the study.

T. Clifton Green, finance professor at Emory University, was the study’s lead author.
