Report: Chinese hackers infiltrated the Vatican

Chinese hackers reportedly infiltrated the Vatican’s computer networks in the past three months.

Somerville, Massachusetts-based private monitoring group Recorded Future detected the attack.

While China officially recognizes Catholicism, authorities often suspect religious groups and worshipers of undermining the control of the Communist Party and the state, The New York Times reports.
