Report: China inks deal with Boeing to buy 300 jets, build plant

China's official news agency says Chinese companies have agreed with Boeing to buy 300 jets and build an aircraft final assembly plant in China in deals signed during President Xi Jinping's visit to the United States.

In a report Wednesday, Xinhua news agency announced the deal was reached after Xi's arrival in Seattle.

No details were given about the plane models involved in the value of the deal.
