Carlyle Group has hired former Goldman Sachs executive Harvey Schwartz as its next CEO, people familiar with the matter told the Financial Times.
Schwartz would succeed Kewsong Lee, who resigned abruptly in August.
The private equity group’s board reportedly met Sunday to vote on the appointment.
