Boeing unveiled a $37 billion order during Donald Trump's first visit to China as president.
However, according to sources familiar with the matter, the order consists mostly of previously agreed upon deals.
Boeing and China Aviation Supplies Holding Co. declined to comment on the Bloomberg report.
“We are not 100 percent sure whether this is already included in what Boeing had previously disclosed,” said Corrine Png, CEO of Crucial Perspective, a specialist in Asian transportation equities. “Sometimes they double count.”
