Bass Pro Shops has canceled plans for a store in Palm Beach County, Florida, according to the Palm Beach Post.
The Post reports Bass Pro recently sold the 75,000-square-foot former Carl’s Furniture Plaza for $7 million. Bass Pro is said to have purchased the site in 2014 for $5.5 million.
The buyer of the shopping center was 11940 Highway One Realty, a joint venture between NTK Partners LLC and RJS Partners of North Palm Beach.
RJS President Bob Sullivan said the venture has plans to renovate and lease the center.
