Amazon is working to absorb Whole Foods' entire workforce into its core business structure by next year, according to internal documents viewed by Business Insider.
Roughly 100,000 workers are being converted to Amazon employees through the initiative called Project Cremini.
Whole Foods' employees will make the switch to Amazon's internal systems for performance reviews, workplace tools and pay.
