Amazon.com Inc. is in advanced talks to purchase self-driving car technology company Zoox Inc., people familiar with the matter told The Wall Street Journal.
The sources said the deal would value Zoox at less than $3.2 billion.
The 2014-founded Zoox is working on hardware and software that would allow customers to summon robot taxis through a smartphone app.
