U.S. Rep. John Lewis, D-Georgia, died Friday. He was 80.
Lewis' death followed his December 2019 announcement that he had Stage 4 pancreatic cancer.
A civil rights leader, Lewis was the last surviving speaker from the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom in 1963.
