Indiana-based Strawberry Fields REIT Inc. has closed on the purchase of eight Missouri health care facilities for $87.5 million.
The facilities, which are largely skilled nursing and assisted-living centers, are located in Kansas City, Salisbury, Florissant, Sedalia, Milan, Trenton, Moberly and St. Elizabeth.
Separately, real estate investment trust Strawberry Fields has reached a deal to buy six facilities in Kansas that operate under the Advena Living brand. The deal is valued at $24 million.
