Regulator reverses approval of powdered alcohol

Looks like you’re going to have to keep filling your water bottle with plain old water, at least for the time being.
 
On Monday, the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau reversed its decision to approve powdered alcohol products made by Palcohol, saying the initial approval decision was made “in error,” according to CNNMoney.
 
The agency hasn’t explained why the approval was reversed, but Palcohol maker Lipsmark LLC said there is apparently confusion over how much powder is in the packages. Lipsmark is planning to try again to get Palcohol approved.
