Regions wins $1 million judgment

Regions Bank has won a more than $1 million judgment against a North County petroleum company.

The Alabama-based banking company in 2007 loaned RM Petroleum Inc. $915,300, but the company owed the majority of the balance by October 2013, a month before Regions' lawsuit was filed, according to court documents.

According to the St. Louis Business Journal, RM Petroleum had no assets to pay the judgment.
