Reddit plans IPO

Reddit Inc. confidentially filed for an initial public offering with U.S. securities regulators, Reuters reports.

The company, which was valued at $10 billion in a private fundraising round in August, is hoping to hit a $15 billion valuation by the time it lists its shares publicly.

As of October last year, Reddit had 52 million daily active users and over 100,000 communities.
