Red Robin rejects hostile takeover bid

Red Robin Gourmet Burgers Inc. rejected a hostile takeover bid from Vintage Capital Management.

Red Robin's board members said Vintage's $40 per share offer undervalues the restaurant chain.

Separately, Red Robin named a new CEO, Paul Murphy, who previously was executive chairman of Noodles & Co.
