The Red Robin chain of restaurants announced it would eliminate bus boy positions at 570 locations.
The move is expected to save the company roughly $8 million over the next year.
Company CEO Denny Post said the decision was made to “address the labor increases we’ve seen.” According to Fox Business, minimum wage increases took effect in 18 states and 20 cities across the nation this month.
