Red Lobster sued for alleged deceptive advertising

A lawsuit backed by a class-action law firm accuses Red Lobster of deceptive advertising.

The suit takes issue with a Red Lobster menu that includes claims of “traceable,” “sustainable” and “responsible."

The litigation alleges those claims are false given that, last year, a federal judge found the U.S. lobster fishery in Maine poses a threat to endangered North Atlantic right whales.
