The Arkansas Supreme Court this week ordered Secretary of State John Thurston to certify a ballot initiative that would have voters decide on recreational marijuana.
The Arkansas Board of Election Commissioners previously rejected the petition, with members concerned about background checks and the amount of THC allowed in edibles.
Responsible Growth Arkansas previously gathered enough signatures to put the initiative on the ballot.
